Synopsis

Everyone from the village tells Edel not to go into the castle. Its perpetually dark skies prompt whispers of witches and monsters. But Edel isn’ t afraid of monsters. She is afraid of being alone if her brother doesn’t overcome his illness. The castle’s inhabitants used to have their own fears, too, though they have long since forgotten what those fears were. Their secrets lie in wait for one brave enough to discover them, and they may be more important to saving Edel’s brother than even she realizes.
